Charlie is best known for the TV reality show “Survivor,” which he created and turned into a global franchise. "Survivor" is in its 45th season on CBS Television but has versions in every continent. The program has received widespread acclaim and won many awards. As a result of this creation, Parsons is widely credited as being the inventor of reality television. Prior to that he founded the influential television company Planet 24 (with Bob Geldof and Lord Waheed Alli.) In theatre, with Tristan Baker, he founded Runaway Entertainment and has produced the musicals Never Forget, Guys and Dolls, David Bowie’s Lazarus, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s In the Heights and GFTNC, and the plays 2:22 A Ghost Story and The Windsors.
